Ayodhya: The Return of Prabhu Shri Ram

यथा कृ पा यथा धर्मो यथा वाग्यस्य सुन्दरी
तथैव रामभक्तस्य सर्वंभवति सुन्दरम्॥

From the Ramayana to now witnessing the majestic rise of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Temple, the heart of Ayodhya beats deep within each soul of Bharat. Just as the verse claims the beauty of Rama’s mercy, righteousness and words, the aura of Ayodhya mirrors this beauty for every devotee of Rama. Across ages, it’s name whispers the legendary past of Prabhu Shri Ram, the embodiment of righteousness and devotion. And now, after a long wait, a new chapter unfolds - his homecoming, return of the rightful king. For 500 long years, the yearning for Rama's return echoed through generations, mirroring the 14 years of exile he endured. And in Rama, revered as the "ideal man" - Maryada Purushottam - we find an enduring beacon of conduct, a guiding light for Bharat. As the past blends with the present, we stand privileged to witness an event that will be remembered for ages. The return of Prabhu Shri Ram breathes life into a verse from the Bhagavad Gita:

न त्वेवाहंजातुनासंन त्वंनेमेजनाधिपा |
न चैव न भविष्याम: सर्वेवयमत: परम् ||12||

Translation: Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor all these kings; nor in the future shall any of us cease to be. (Bhagavad Gita - Chapter 2, Verse 12)

This return is a promise connecting the past to the present, ensuring a legacy that whispers to the future. A symbol of cultural revival, it reawakens the ancient wisdom that defines Bharat’s identity. Nayi Ayodhya embraces inclusivity, welcoming visitors from across the globe. A meticulously planned city, adorned with modern infrastructure like the newly developed International Airport, an expanded railway station and well-connected roads, stand as a bridge between ancient wisdom and modern progress. Bringing billions together in the spirit of homecoming isn't just about a king's return; it's the fulfillment of centuries-old hopes, a joyous celebration of faith and sacrifice. The patience of devotees culminates in Ayodhya’s remarkable transformation—a cultural and spiritual rebirth echoing the virtues embodied by Lord Rama. Described by Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, as the "National Temple," it serves as a unifying force for diverse strands of Bharat.

Nayi Ayodhya is emerging as a religious tourism hub, prompting adjustments in darshan timings due to an overwhelming surge in pilgrims. Recent reports indicate an astounding 179% surge in property rates over the last three months, suggesting significant economic gains of up to Rs 4 lakh crore, as projected by SBI Research. In an international context, Ayodhya's ascent as a pilgrimage site could potentially surpass renowned destinations like Vatican City and Mecca. Nayi Ayodhya not only promises economic prosperity for the region but also echoes stories of its glorious past, contributing to the rich heritage of Bharat. This marks a defining spiritual moment for Naya Bharat. The 22nd of January, 2024, stands as a golden letter day in Bharat's itihaasa—a day when the future, built on the foundations of harmony, faith, and the unwavering spirit of a united civilisation, unfolded. Prime Minister Modi's vision, blending modern advancements with ancient heritage, resonates through sacred spaces, transforming aspirations and fortifying faith.
